It seems that once again the Aperture Science website (Valve’s site for Portal that has promotional puzzles and whatnot from time to time) has some new content, viva Valve. Today’s new content is Christmas-inspired, with a nice version of the “Still Alive” song, lyricless, with a Christmas theme to it.

I don’t think the rest of the site has changed, if you type in the prompt it still lets you apply and whatnot. For those of you who haven’t done the puzzle, here’s a breakdown:

1. At the initial prompt, you can type help or some basic DOS commands. Typing DIR will reveal an “Apply.exe”.
2. Type Apply
3. Write down that UID, for the end.
4. Press through the application, it doesn’t matter what you enter until the UID. Note the flashing subliminal messages from time to time.
5. Type your UID when prompted.

I don’t remember everything else, lol, but it eventually will let you view a few video clips of things inside of “Aperture Science”.
