InterfaceLIFT Wallpapers

Ever wish that you had dozens, even hundreds of high resolution (HD even) wallpapers without paying a dime? As a photographer and Photoshop-guru, I find myself typically only using my own wallpapers. When I want something else, however, I am quite picky. I tell you this because almost everything at InterfaceLIFT meets or exceeds even my standards. Look no further, InterfaceLIFT is probably the best source for wallpapers around.

InterfaceLIFT has many formats of wallpaper, from single monitor to triple, from mobile devices to the highest quality HD monitors. This article covers the standard, single monitor wallpapers, which can be found in the following sizes:

  • 1024×768
  • 1280×800
  • 1280×960
  • 1280×1024
  • 1400×1050
  • 1440×900
  • 1600×1200
  • 1680×1050
  • 1920×1200
  • 2560×1600

This covers all common aspect ratios and resolutions, and if you’re using something smaller you can always scale or crop it down to size. To give you an idea of what you can find on the site, here are the thumbnails of two wallpapers I downloaded for myself just before writing this article:

Dramatic Sky
New York City by Paulo Bercellos Jr.

With so many options to choose from, you could easily spend hours perusing the various backgrounds on the site. In order to narrow your findings, you can perform a traditional search, or order by various attributes. I recommend searching by “Most Downloaded”, “Highest Rated”, or “Most Commented” if you’re just browsing. Of course if you check on a daily basis, the default “Date Posted” is the best choice.

I’ve almost never looked past InterfaceLIFT for wallpapers since I discovered it.
